The VFW is a charitable, tax exempt organization registered under Section 501c(19) of the Internal Revenue Code.  We are an organization of veterans who have served our country in wars in foreign countries who continue to serve our comradesin need. The VFW is the largest Congressional lobby in the U.S., boasting a membership of over one million veterans, and have been responsible for virtually every piece of legislation benefitting veterans over the past one-hundred years.  If you are receiving a disability pension from the VA, you can thank the VFW by joining us and supporting the VFW mission.
